    Clean Lip Care

Lips have been having their moment for a while now (thanks, Kylie!). It’s all about the healthy pout and I’ve finally discovered how to achieve mine, thanks to clean beauty! Optional Step 1: Exfoliate There are so many products marketed and sold specifically for this purpose, and I’ve tried my fair share, but I always seem to come back to this, super basic method – rub your lips gently with a towel. I know this might sound too simple, but it really works. Once or twice a week, while getting out of the shower, I gently rub my lips with my bath towel. This works to slough off dry skin, leaving…

    Brand Spotlight: Ilia Beauty

Recently, while editing a GRWM, a brainwave hit me – I’ve got a lot of Ilia Beauty products in my collection (check out my Minimal and Quick Clean Beauty FOTD here)! Not only that, but I reach for them often and have developed pretty strong opinions along the way. I know I’ve demo-ed and spoken about products here and there (especially on Instagram: BittaFab), but I’m ready now to give you guys more of an in-depth review. Grab a cup of coffee and settle in – this is gonna be a long one 🙂 ILIA Beauty I was attracted to Ilia right from the start, with their modern website and…

    Full Face of Clean Beauty

We started this clean makeup/#cleanstreak back in Feb and I am so excited that I finally have all the components for a full face of clean beauty. Like I back when I was knee deep in decluttering, I never wanted to up and buy makeup in a rushed and haphazard fashion. I wanted to buy things as the need arose and allow ample time for research/reading reviews. Plus, let’s be real, makeup isn’t cheap and the same goes for the nontoxic variety. When I first proposed #cleanstreak (where I challenged myself to only buy clean makeup/skincare products), I adamant that the products I use and incorporate into my daily routine…

    What’s in my bag?

Anyone else a huge fan of this oldie but goodie throwback to the beginnings of YouTube? I can’t say no to a ‘What’s in my bag?’ video, not just because they are so nostalgic, but also because, I love organizing, remember? …and I can be nosey (don’t judge!)…but mostly because of the organizing thing – it’s so helpful and inspiring to see what people carry and how they structure their handbags! Anyhow, it’s time for me to pay it forward because I love my LV Neo Noe. This bag has it all: it’s trendy yet classic, all while being super functional. The straps can shorten and lengthen to allow you…

    Indian Wedding GRWM

Another weekend, another wedding…but this time, Desi style! I’ve already shared some wedding guest inspo for an American-style wedding, so I thought it would be nice if I brought you guys along with me as I got ready for the Sangeet (dance-party/talent show night) before the wedding. I mean, who doesn’t love a little fast-forwarded, makeup application, twirly dress action? 😉 The products I used (in order) are listed below: Smashbox Photo Finish 24 Hour Shadow Primer Urban Decay Double-ended Shadow/Blending Brush Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly Palette  Makeup Revolution Renaissance Flick Eyeliner Pen Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer in Tan Sephora Collection PRO Airbrush Detail Brush #57 RMS…

    An Everyday Glam Makeup Look

If a picture’s worth a thousand words, then a video’s gotta be a novel’s worth! There’s no better way to share my latest favorite makeup look and how I apply each product 🙂 Disclaimer: I’m pretty excited about this everyday sparkly look and while I’m definitely not a makeup artist, I hope that some of my tips are helpful for those looking to amp up their daily look. The video is definitely on the longer side and I happened to film while multiple tractors were running (sorry, lol!), but I genuinely love these products and think they can be flattering for a wide range of skin tones. Products used, in…

    Vacation Glam

Last week I shared the contents of my travel makeup bag on Instagram Stories (handle ‘bittafab’ – you can check the stories out in my highlights under Makeup) and while I pretty much brought everything but the kitchen sink, I thought it would be helpful to share the makeup that I actual did use and how! During the day when we were swimming, shopping or just lounging, I kept my makeup pretty simple and minimal: Tinted SPF: This was my only base product and although these have limited coverage, they do help to even the complexion a bit. I packed both the Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte and the Arbonne Soft Focus…

5 Product Makeup & Spring OOTD

There’s something about the change of seasons that adds such a level of excitement to getting ready in the morning. I’ve been wishing for Spring and recently, we caught a glimpse of Spring with a 70+ degree day. As the weather gets warmer, I am less and less interested in complicated makeup looks (now watch, I’ll be dying over a cut crease tomorrow, lol!). I love to let my skin shine through and I lean heavily on my most favorite makeup product: cream blush. Honestly, all I need is cream blush and I feel like I can conquer the world. I love to use it as eyeshadow, on the lips…

    Epic Lash Combo!

Happy National Lash Day, BittaFab Fam! Normally, I don’t indulge silly holidays, but this is one I can get behind. Mascara would definitely be one of my desert island products. Long, dark, curled, voluminous, fanned lashes really make a big difference by opening up your eyes and just instantly making you look more put together. Obviously a major concern when stuck on a desert island… 😉 My Epic Lash Combo: Lancome Cils Booster XL Mascara Enhancing Base + Cover Girl Clump Crusher Water Resistant I have been wearing this particular lash duo for the better part of a year (and the only way I may move on from it is…
