Full Face of Clean Beauty
We started this clean makeup/#cleanstreak back in Feb and I am so excited that I finally have all the components for a full face of clean beauty. Like I back when I was knee deep in decluttering, I never wanted to up and buy makeup in a rushed and haphazard fashion. I wanted to buy things as the need arose and allow ample time for research/reading reviews. Plus, let’s be real, makeup isn’t cheap and the same goes for the nontoxic variety. When I first proposed #cleanstreak (where I challenged myself to only buy clean makeup/skincare products), I adamant that the products I use and incorporate into my daily routine…

Fresh Face of Clean Beauty
While I’ve been into clean skincare for several years now, I really only started to dive into the world of clean makeup earlier this year. My visit to Follain Dallas really sparked my interest; I wasn’t totally sold on the idea of shopping for clean makeup online until I had a chance to really play with the product in person. Pittsburgh is still the best city in the world 😛 , but we don’t always have the latest and greatest in terms of natural beauty, so whenever I’m in an area that does, I’m all over it! I’ve finally amassed enough of a collection where I was able to do…

Indian Wedding GRWM
Another weekend, another wedding…but this time, Desi style! I’ve already shared some wedding guest inspo for an American-style wedding, so I thought it would be nice if I brought you guys along with me as I got ready for the Sangeet (dance-party/talent show night) before the wedding. I mean, who doesn’t love a little fast-forwarded, makeup application, twirly dress action? 😉 The products I used (in order) are listed below: Smashbox Photo Finish 24 Hour Shadow Primer Urban Decay Double-ended Shadow/Blending Brush Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly Palette Makeup Revolution Renaissance Flick Eyeliner Pen Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer in Tan Sephora Collection PRO Airbrush Detail Brush #57 RMS…

An Everyday Glam Makeup Look
If a picture’s worth a thousand words, then a video’s gotta be a novel’s worth! There’s no better way to share my latest favorite makeup look and how I apply each product 🙂 Disclaimer: I’m pretty excited about this everyday sparkly look and while I’m definitely not a makeup artist, I hope that some of my tips are helpful for those looking to amp up their daily look. The video is definitely on the longer side and I happened to film while multiple tractors were running (sorry, lol!), but I genuinely love these products and think they can be flattering for a wide range of skin tones. Products used, in…

Vacation Glam
Last week I shared the contents of my travel makeup bag on Instagram Stories (handle ‘bittafab’ – you can check the stories out in my highlights under Makeup) and while I pretty much brought everything but the kitchen sink, I thought it would be helpful to share the makeup that I actual did use and how! During the day when we were swimming, shopping or just lounging, I kept my makeup pretty simple and minimal: Tinted SPF: This was my only base product and although these have limited coverage, they do help to even the complexion a bit. I packed both the Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte and the Arbonne Soft Focus…

Clean Beauty: Part 4 – DIY Pregnancy Care Package
Note: This post was inspired by a dear, expecting friend of mine who I wanted to pamper with some nontoxic goodies! That being said, each of the products I selected for her can be used by anyone, man or woman, expecting or not! Nothing here is “maternity specific”. That’s the true beauty of going clean 😉 Of course, if you are pregnant, please be sure to research each of the products and ensure they are approved by your doctor. While Baby Showers are amazing opportunities to bless the expecting couple with all of the gizmos and gadgets they need to prepare themselves for the wonderful chaos of parenthood, I’ve always…

5 Product Makeup & Spring OOTD
There’s something about the change of seasons that adds such a level of excitement to getting ready in the morning. I’ve been wishing for Spring and recently, we caught a glimpse of Spring with a 70+ degree day. As the weather gets warmer, I am less and less interested in complicated makeup looks (now watch, I’ll be dying over a cut crease tomorrow, lol!). I love to let my skin shine through and I lean heavily on my most favorite makeup product: cream blush. Honestly, all I need is cream blush and I feel like I can conquer the world. I love to use it as eyeshadow, on the lips…
